Students will learn basics of archery, including safety, form, technique, beginning maintenance of equipment, and archery terms. We will provide equipment. Activities include target shooting and scoring, games, and 3-D targets. Instructors are experienced archers who share a passion of bringing the sport of archery to new people. They have been helping people of all ages become better archers. Instructors have experience of shooting at local, state and national levels in addition to years of hunting experience. This class is offered through the Swift County Archers. If school is canceled due to weather, archery will also be canceled.
