Pre-K - 1^st graders that are new to wrestling.  This practice will focus on body control, teaching our athletes to become in control of their bodies and more athletic.  They will be introduced to wrestling, the rules, and some basic positions but competitive wrestling will not be our main focus of the class.   

The goals of the youth program are to have fun, develop one's potential, understand and practice good sportsmanship, develop self-esteem and self-respect through goal setting and hard work, enjoy the personal challenges that wrestling provides, proudly represent Benson Schools on and off the mat.

Wrestlers will have the chance to wrestle at both individual and team tournaments. Transportation will be on  your own.

Parent Meeting: Dec. 1st, Practice Begins Dec. 8th



Please no parents attending unless you are there to help contribute to the practice.   We apologize for this change but with too many people in the gym it becomes very distracting to our athletes.  All wrestlers will enter through the front of the school no more than 5 minutes before practice is scheduled to begin. Wrestlers should have a set of tennis shoes or wrestling shoes, a pair of shorts, and a t‐shirt.
