MN Safety Council: Defensive driving classes are offered to people 55 years of age and over to review and discuss courteous driving and the rules of the road.
If you are 55 years of age and older, you receive 10% off your auto insurance for three years, after completing the eight hour class. 8 hour classes are only offered online through the MN Safety Council at this time.
You must repeat the class every three years and can do this with the four hour class.
